On-line Quality Assurance of Study Programmes
Start date: Dec 1, 2013,
The project aims to the definition and adoption of an iQA system of SPs in the RF, consistent with the ESG and compatible with their organisation, and of an online documentation and monitoring system of their quality. The project will be especially addressed to technological education, but most topics are universal and can be applied to all fields of education as well. The first outcome of the project will be the identification of the standards and associated guidelines, i.e. quality requirements and activities for their accomplishment, for the QA of SPs in the RF. The definition of SPs’ learning outcomes consistent with the needs of the IPs will be the starting point for the definition of the iQA system. Then information and data associated to each quality requirement necessary ‘to measure’ the quality of SPs will be identified, methodologies/procedures and responsibilities/facilities for their documentation will be defined, organised and implemented, in parallel with design, production and implementation of the software for the online management of the identified information and data. Finally procedures and facilities and software will be implemented. In parallel, questionnaires for the monitoring of the quality perceived by students, employed graduates and employers will be defined and software for the on-line management of the monitoring process will be designed, produced and implemented.Dissemination will be primarily aimed at informing all the HE Institutions of the RF of the project objectives, activities and results through the project web site, the distribution of material on the project activities and results and the organisation of events on the project activities and results. The approval of the on-line documentation and monitoring system by the competent national authorities will be pursued in order to assure project sustainability.Internal and external quality monitoring and control will assure project quality.
