The Pre-school Montessori project is developed to implement Montessori Education system, which is child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood and which is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play, in our school.Under the scope of the project; classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process.Project background; our school was started to Montessori education system with 3 project which was prepared and implemented at October 2015;-Would you play with me?-I touch the time,- Curious little in the way of science.Two of these projects were accepted and implemented from twining portal. The results of the projects was created to positive effect on development proses of the students and also on learning speed of the adaptation students. Therefore we decided to make detailed research and get professional support from an experienced body on Montessori method and get in contact with Materska Skola.-The aims of the project;-To prepare a suitable learning ecosystem for the students which allow the students learn by themselves.-with un limited mistakes, to show the students that the mistakes are the road to the correct information,- To prepare a suitable learning ecosystem for the students which allow the students learn with their learning speeds.-To create equal opportunity for the adaptability students and support their learning process.-and to help the new generations to know their rights and have the respect to the rights of the others. Our School target; To being a school which is implemented Montessori education system professionally.Our participant profile;Our project team is established by 4 teacher and 1 manager. All members of our team was participated to ToT of Montessori method at İstanbul Kemerburgaz Universty and at different public bodies. The project team will participate to the training of Lopez Santiago in Spain on December 2016 and will visit Materska Skola on February 2016. Methodology:-Before to start the project we made a need assessment and current situation analyses with teachers and student.-A project team established.-During the project life, all activities will reported.-The project news and outputs will share from our school web site and seminars.Short and long term targets;Within the close cooperation of Local directory of National Education authority, the project team will make seminars with Mersin University students and the teachers of Mersin. As a result of the project we would like to make our school as a center of best practice on Montessori education system. Additionally, a very detailed report will be prepared and share with the Local directory of National Education authority. As a result of the project, we would like to adapt 2 class of our school with the needs and equipment’s of the Montessori education system, and start Montessori education system with 3 and 4 years old students and prepare infrastructure for 5 years old students. By all this activities, we would like to give better education to our students and be a role model school for the other schools.
