Through the «Economy of Sharing», the «Symbiose Gemeinschaft» questions current economic processes, whereby a good a service is sold for money without the customer being aware of the persons behind the product/service respectively of the process of production. It is aspired that, together with decision makers from various fields, said paradigm is left behind whilst at the same time alternatives are showcased. On one side, «Symbiose Gemeinschaft» approaches the issue on the theoretical plane by establishing three working groups in the areas of education, food and economy. These working groups serve as think tanks for developing theoretical concepts for the «Economy of Sharing» as well for implementing these concepts. A deeper analysis of these topics is undertaken in the framework of three seminars with presentation of renowed experts such as government officials, sustainability consultants and initiators of sustainable projects as well as with workshops. The debate is further stimualted through three movie evenings, deliberately with another focus group, in co-operation with the local cultural cinema. On the other side, «Symbiose Gemeinschaft» intends to put the acquired knowledge into direct use. In this regard, four Get and Bring Afternoons are organised, which strengthen the sense of a common bond and reduce the reliance on money. Further implementations are discussed and followed-up internally in the respective working group.
