The aim of the project "From inspiration to innovation ..." - practical preparation for the teaching profession of early childhood education by assumptions of Montessori’s pedagogy was to develop and increase the quality of preschool education of 1st Social Nursery named after
M. Rej. The aim of the project was to become an expert institution in the Voivodship in the field of implementation Montessori pedagogy into pre-school education. The latest pedagogical research clearly shows that children are becoming more self-reliant, dependent on adults and have difficulty in taking responsibility for their own work and behavior. Looking for a way to counteract such problems, the school management became interested in Montessori pedagogy and one of the groups of 1st Social Nursery named after M. Rej, operating from September 2013 , conducts classes using techniques and methods characteristic for Montessori pedagogy. 1st Social Nursery named after M. Rej in Kielce is the only one of its kind in the region. The implementation of a project of the above arouse from the need to acquire knowledge, skills, experience exchange in the field of effective work with children in preschool and the effective transfer of acquired competence in both the education and upbringing. The main objective of the project was to familiarize teachers of 1st Social Nursery named after M. Rej in Kielce with modern concepts and methods of Montessori pedagogy as well as the exchange of diverse experience in this field.
The main outcomes of the project were:
-pedagogical innovation, which was reported to the Board of Education in Kielce, taking into account the teachers' needs, interests, potential and the requirements for pre-school children. The innovation was approved by the Board of Education in Kielce in December 2015;
-implementation of the aforesaid innovation in three pre-school groups;
-a seminar directed to pre-school education teachers and school directors from the Swietokrzyskie region;
-multimedia presentations presented during the seminar;
-multimedia presentations created on Padlet:

-a radio broadcasts devoted to the main objective of the project;

-certificates confirming participation in a B1 level language training and cultural preparation training received by 7 teachers who participated in the project;
-certificates of completion the course received by 7 teachers who participated in the project;
-the Europass-Mobility document received by 7 teachers who participated in the project.
In order to achieve the outcomes mentioned above, the project participants went on weekly training to AVE.IK in the Netherlands. During the training, the participants took part in workshops on the practical use of Montessori pedagogy as well as they went on the classes observations with the use Montessori pedagogy. The main long-term advantage resulting from the project is the consistent implementation of Montessori pedagogy solutions in 1st Social Nursery named after M. Rej in Kielce. Since September 2015, three pre-school groups have worked with the implementation of the Maria Montessori method. The pupil's classroom environment has been adapted to the aforesaid method. Another advantage, which has resulted from the project and which was not assumed at the time of its preparation, is the implementation of „Montessori Fridays” dedicated to second class of primary school pupils. The project participants conducted the information campaign devoted to the Maria Montessori method, which has significantly influenced pre-school education quality in the region. Thanks to the published articles, broadcasts and the seminar dedicated to Montessori pedagogy, teachers of preschool education from the Swietorzyskie region gained a practical dimension and thus it did directly affect their professional competence.
The project was directed to a group of 7 teachers, workers of 1st Social Nursery named after M. Rej in Kielce, who were open to change and willing to implement the pedagogical innovation and who continuously strive to improve their competences and qualifications.
Participation in the project directly influenced:
- physical and psychological development of children, pupils of 1st Social Nursery named after M. Rej in Kielce;
- the level of quality of school education in the 1st Social Nursery named after M. Rej in Kielce as well as in the
