PROJECT
FINISHED
The institution applying for the participation in the project is the base school called Szegedi Kőrösy József Gazdasági Szakképző Iskola, which provides basic economic studies and economic vocational training. The partner institution is Regionales Berufsbildungszentrum Wirtschaft der Landeskreishauptstadt Kiel based in Germany, which offers similar trainings. Having completed three successful mobility projects the two institutions expressed their unanimous wish to continue this relationship. This application might enhance the maintenance of a flourishing cooperation.
The target groups involved in the project are colleagues and students in the vocational year or those who are in the 11th, 12th or 13th grade of their basic education and speak a foreign language at a sufficient level.
According to the scheme the vocational training would take place in a two-year cycle with the participation of 24 people (two rounds, each involving 12 people), between 5 and 26 March, 2016 and 4 and 25 March, 2017. The duration of this program matches our educational structure and it is long enough to achieve our goals. Our project’s primary goal is to improve the participants’ specific language skills, which is followed by improving personal, social and professional skills of our students, who will meet the requirements of the labour market both inland and abroad. The chance to get insight into the labour market in Germany can help our students’ career orientation significantly.
The trip abroad for the four colleagues provides a great opportunity to improve their technical language competences, learn new teaching methods and study another educational structure. The experiences regarding the dual training gained through the partnership are extremely useful for all the participants and could be implemented into practice at institutional, regional, national and international levels alike.
The selection of the participants is based on a thoroughly worked out system.
The students’ preparation takes place in the applicant school which is followed by the practice. The students keep a working diary on a daily basis of the events and experiences they go through and finally they give a presentation about the improvement of their professional and language skills.
