It is necessary to get a correspondence between the qualifications offered by VET systems and the real needs of companies (Agenda New Qualifications and Employments, 2010).VET Systems have been focused on training in technical aspects. Companies, on their part, are requesting also some non-formal and informal competences they consider necessary in their productive contexts.Therefore the role of teachers and trainers must change. They should act as a bridge between the educational and the labour environments, allowing permanent knowledge of both realities.A high percentage of teachers/trainers doesn´t have any experience in companies so they don´t know the context where their students will develop their professional life.Therefore, they need to updated their profiles to be able to further train their students in such competences.
