This project will give 11-16 year olds and professional artists the chance to take part in cultural exchanges between France and England with a view to finding common ground through theatrical creation. Theatrical expression and writing workshops on the theme "Ma ville au bord de la mer, ouverte sur un ailleurs (My town by the sea – taking in a different place) will be organised with a view to developing youngsters' artistic expression through writing, reading, plays and the visual arts and to encouraging two organisations and their associate artists to work together – compare their different practices and seek where they complement each other by including young people in their work.
