The basis of our project is the need to share positive experiences with non-formal education in order to build a solid international partnership. Our passions and interests will form the foundation for that cooperation. Through our actions we hope to get a better understanding of our neighbours’ countries and cultures. It will allow us to promote tolerance and openness amongst the participants and in their local communities.To achieve our goals we want to organise a tri-lateral youth exchange in which three groups of young people will take part. Each group will consist of 20 participants, all of which will be between 13 and 19 years old. Groups form Ukraine and Lithuania will take up the roles of foreign partners. The group form Poland (from Siemiatycze) will act as a host and will be formally represented by the „Passionfruits” Association. Our exchange will take place between th 13th and the 22nd of August 2016 in Murzasichle.We have planned the use of various methods of non-formal education during the project. They will include:- simulation games,- artistic workshops,- dance and song workshops,- presentations,- working in various types of groups,- individual work,- field games,- moderated discussions,- debates,- activities involving local communities,- integration games and energizers.Through the realisation of this project we hope to gather greater knowledge about the involved countries and their cultures, which will allow us to promote tolerance and openness. We also want to give the participants a positive experience with methods of non-formal education. This way we want to make them more active in their learning process and possibly even spark some change in the education systems of their schools allowing for incorporation of non-formal learning in day-to-day activities.
