Non-formal education success training

At the turn of November and December 2015 youth organization Be International built a training NEST in Kaprálův mlýn, near the city of Brno. This training course was designed for the newcomers to Erasmus+ program who were be supported in understanding principles, components and methods of non-formal education and intercultural learning and encouraged to make the first steps in thinking about their own Erasmus+ Youth in Action projects. 7 countries had an opportunity to send four active participants who had already have encountered with Erasmus + Youth in Action program and wanted to understand it more deeply and carry their own ideas for new projects. Poland, Macedonia, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia met in the Czech Republic. NEST carried these objectives: to recognize and to be able to apply fundamental components, principles and basic methods of non-formal education and intercultural learning to youth education to understand the project logic steps of educational activity and be ready to apply logical thinking while building their own Erasmus+ Youth in Action projects to realize the value of non-formal education and its recognition, thus understand the strategy of European Union in supporting E+ Youth in Action program to understand the role of different stakeholders of Erasmus+ Youth in Action program as national agencies, SALTO resource centers, European commission, beneficiaries etc.
