A series of needs and problems of young people have been identified making this project necessary. These needs and problems are: the lack of communication between youth and authorities, the existence of poor channels of communication of needs, the lack of knowledge and skills of young people in terms of formulating their wishes and opinions in structured form.
The project aims to achieve certain objectives such as: the establishment of a communication framework between youth and authorities within structured dialogue meeting, developing young people skills in order to capacitate them to identify and formulate needs and problems, and also to provide options for their resolution. The project aims to establish a Regional Strategy for Youth, a document that will be discussed and agreed upon by young people during the days of discussions and negotiations, and adjusted authorities and experts in youth policy. Another objective is to create a Regional Youth Council which will meet at least once a year on the model established within this project. The project also seeks to improve language and ICT skills of participants, using working papers in English and employing computers / tablets.
