Observational Adult Education Project to Improve And to Develop The Care Education Of Caregiver Of Neurological Rehabilitation Patients Adult caregivers of people with neurological diseases consist of one of the family member instead of a special health staff, because of socioeconomic and cultural conditions of our country. Health staff should be explain to caregivers what they are faced with, inside and outside hospital and should be define expectations as well and effectively. Studies performed in our country are reported that caregivers particularly after discharge are insufficient to meet the needs of patients, lack of information is high and they have to return the hospital due to complications of patients. Insufficient education of caregivers is becoming an important health problem for our country. Therefore, observational education of health staff is planned to improve care functions of adult caregivers. Five health staff as participants (department manager, associate professor doctor, psychologist and physiotherapist) who had different status and given adult education to patients and caregivers are included in this project. Of these participants as observers in the host hospital that known quality and education level about to adult education are expected to increase their knowledge and skills. For this purpose; each participant will make written their observations. The preparation of the adult education sets with visual materials and written observations that obtained from host hospital for both the health staff and caregivers are planned. Expected effects of study by these adult education sets are to provide of adult education of health staff and caregivers and to reduce complications, deaths and economic burden due to care failure of patients in our clinic and our hospital. In the long term, local expected effects by these education sets is anticipated to include the whole country.
