NO to exclusion - exploring youth support system in Masovian region

The project "NO to exclusion - exploring youth support system in Masovian region" is a study visit , the purpose of which is to review the support of various organizations and institutions working with youth and for youth in Warsaw and Mazowsze and a better understanding of the profile of the partner organizations and their representatives. The project was initiated by the Mazowsze Provincial Headquarters of the Voluntary Labour Corps and in particular the Youth Education and Job Center in Warsaw, a unit acting locally (mainly in Warsaw and close surrounding areas) and the Centre for Training and Education located in Jaciążek and , of course, with the participation of partner organizations from Albania , Armenia , Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, Jordan, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Turkey, Tunisia, Ukraine and Italy (Sardinia). Both units express keen interest in sharing their knowledge with partners to support young people especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, threatened with marginalization or social exclusion. The program includes visits to non-governmental organizations, institutions supporting the development of young people, who are organizations at the same time combating social and economic exclusion through various forms of support, as well as a variety of target groups (youth unemployed, emotionally neglected youth, youth with different disabilities). During the project, while visiting institutions for youth, participants will take part in workshops delivered by selected organizations promoting non-formal education methods, arttherapy, entrepreneurship, in order to allow better understanding of the working methods of the organization. The consequence of the study visit and its effect will be establishing new partnerships and further taking joint action, exchange of experiences on youth work and increase of knowledge about the functioning of the systems of support for young people in Poland. Established partnerships, particularly with organizations from Partner Countries neighboring the EU, will increase the mobility of young people covered by the support of our partner organizations.
