Niveau A2 im Wahlpflichtfach Italienisch
Start date: Jul 7, 2014, End date: Jul 6, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our school is a language orientated school and tries in accordance with the European Union to bring together as many languages and cultures as possible. Now that Italian has its fixed place in our school, it is necessary to develop a high standard elective course with 2 hours per week over 3 years (6th - 8th grade) that can be tested orally to A2 level. The goal is to prepare the students for Europe; for communication, friendships and working relationships with Italians. In addition the cradle of our culture lies in Italy (next to Greece), from the achievements of the Romans, the Christian faith to all the wonderful art treasures. Our school is sending Ms. Barbara Wodak to this training because she is always ready to further her education, to develop the Italian lessons and always looking for ways to improve the methods of teaching. She studied Latin and Italian for teaching purposes, and has been teaching Italian and mainly Latin since 1997. We want challenging, demanding, communicative and fun Italian lessons in which the students are motivated as much as possible in Italian. We also want to put into place fixed language trips, student exchanges and cultural trips. So our students come into contact with Italian students, make friends and maybe later business relationships. The lessons should be satisfactory for all parties and when our students finish secondary school they should be prepared for a life in the European Union.
