The project" Next Step -ICT in teacher' s workshop at Primary School no 11 in Mielec" is a response of the needs of ICT techgniques in the educational process and the change of traditional teaching methods to the creative ones , opening up to Europe and increase the number of international projects and educational competence of the teachers. The main goal is to support six teachers in the use of modern technologies during various ICT courses within two years of the project. The knowledge and the skills learnt by the teachers- participants of the project will be shared to the rest of the teaching staff during training sessions and workshops organised after the end of the mobility. It is expected to raise the level of classes and teachers didactic abilities in our school. The specific purposes of the projects are determined as: to acquire abilities in the area of the newest ICT tools and techniques, to improve the quality and increase the quantity of the European mobility of training participants, to perfect the skills of foreign languages emphasising the specialist terminology, to promote other cultural and social knowledge, to shape tolerant and open attitude towards racial, ethnic and religious differences, to fight prejudice and stereotypes, to explore the rules of working arrangements in cultural and language diverse teams, to increase the knowledge and qualifications of the participants. All the tasks taken on during the project reflect the developmental needs of the school.On each stage of the project modern ICT technologies are going to be gradually used (communication with institutions responsible for organising courses, contact during mobility, contact with participants from other countries after finishing mobility). During the course creative and originative methods of acting, autopresentation and self-reflection are going to be used. The direct result of the project will be the growth of competence and knowledge of participants. The indirect results will reflect in greater involvement of school teachers in international projects like eTwinning, making a strategic partnership or leaving traditional teaching methods. In the long term prospect the project will contribute to introducing in our school teaching subjects or just their parts in foreign languages.
