"Next step for youth mobility" is a project of Erasmus + program. In one side we would like the meeting of partner at European level. The participants will be youth workers and youngster with fewer opportunities becoming youth leader, they will share about work experiences, difficulties to involved the youth, good practices in the field of social integration of youngsters with fewer opportunities. In the other side we would like to develop new projects of hight quality that will be relevant for the youngsters.
Description
This PBA will take place in Marseille from the 15th to the 18th of june 2015. The aim of this project is to empower youth and social actors to write and coordinate international mobility projects for youngsters with fewer opportunities in the framework of the Key Action 1 of the Erasmus+ Youth program.
The particularity of this PBA will be the involvement of two profiles of participants from each organization: one social/youth worker and one youngster youth leader or in the process to become youth worker. It’s fundamental to strongly involved young people in the process of the project creation in order to be as close as possible from their needs and expectations. In total there will be 26 participants, half will be youngsters with fewer opportunities.
The activities proposed will on the one hand, give the youngsters the opportunity to exchange ideas with other peers, to work on the development of mobility projects that interest them; and on the other hand, social/youth workers will benefit from the youngsters inputs to develop mobility projects suitable for disadvantaged young people.
Objectives
- Build new qualitative partnerships between social and youth organisations
- Bringing together youth workers and youngsters in order to create new quality projects ideas within the new Erasmus+ program in the youth field
- Share and learn about good inclusive practices between youth workers working with disadvantaged young people
- Foster networking among participants and creating space for youth workers to reflect on their own practices
-Encouraging youth/social workers to develop quality projects with and towards disadvantaged young people on the basis of long term strategies
PBA activities
- Overview of the different local realities of disadvantaged young people in the represented countries
- Field visits in social centres and youth organisation in Marseille
- Cooperative group work to develop youth project ideas
- Exchanging resources (tools, methods, approaches, etc.) relevant for increasing inclusion of disadvantaged young people
Impact:
Développment of mobility projects for youngsters with fewer opportunities at local and international level, throught the meeting of patners.
