New times, new youth
Start date: Jun 23, 2014, End date: Nov 23, 2014 PROJECT  FINISHED

NEW TIMES, NEW YOUTH is the answer five European organizations gove to the cycle change that is occurring at present at social , cultural , economic, educational and global level. From August 29 to September 7, five contingents from Macedonia , Slovakia , Austria , Turkey and Spain coposed by 10 young (13 to 16 years old) and two monitors will coexist in a youth hostel in San Lorenzo de El Escorial , Madrid. As a result of this coexistence, mixed teams will be conformed ( in nationality and gender) that will face topics such as multiculturalism and volunteerism through games, dynamics and workshops . Participants will also create videos in order to sensitize the youth audience of the desirability of taking tolerant , inclusive and active participation attitudes to see global change as possible. Cultural evenings of each of the associations will enclose each country to Spain, in this way, a small town in the Sierra Madrileña is a kind of a multicultural society which will show that the coexistence of cultures is a real possibility . NEW TIMES, NEW YOUTH will travel to Segovia , Toledo , Madrid and the city center of San Lorenzo de El Escorial where campaigns promoting the project and Erasmus + Program will be made , these campaigns will be supported by the blog exchange where both various activities such as video and the diptychs used in campaigns will be published . This exchange is the first of its kind for the girls and boys because of their age. This, is a challenge and an incentive at the same time . Binding of challenge and encouragement makes NEW TIMES, NEW YOUTH be the most exciting and engaging activity that participants have developed so far. This activity may build cultural bridges and befriend active citizens elsewhere in Europe . This friendship will become , without doubt, into a new joint collaboration in the short, medium and long term .
