New dimension in adult learning in Ida-Virumaa. The project initiative was born and developed in the network cooperation between the organizations working in the field of adult education in Ida-Virumaa county. The necessity of the project was proved by the needs to improve and develop the adult education in Ida-Virumaa. As the quality of adult education is closely linked to the competences of trainers, teachers and educators, there came the decision to initiate and develop the project "New dimension in adult learning in Ida-Virumaa". The project activities involve the active preparation for the mobilities such as every participant personal development plan, intercultural and English language preparation course, then comes mobility with the content of various training courses according to the participants' needs and organizations' strategic development goals. The topics of the training courses cover creativity and cultural awareness; career counseling; use of new ICT; non-formal methods in adult education (including games); self-entrepreneurship and creativity; psychological support; group dynamics and social skills; action methods improving motivation and quality; CLIL. The final part of the project includes the dissemination of the results among the colleagues, educators, adult trainers and learners in Ida-Virumaa which will contribute to the promotion of European dimension in adult education. The participants are the trainers and teachers with andragogy qualification working in the field of adult education. The participants are representatives of Russian speaking minorities working mostly with low motivated students and risk groups. The participants will take part in various training courses and then will disseminate the project results by means of conducting workshops, seminars and educational activities for the training staff and larger public in Ida-Virumaa. The impact of the project will be reflected in the participants' professional development, intercultural awareness and practical skills in different spheres of adult education. The project implementation will contribute to the development, improvement and diversification of organizations' curriculum, syllabus and teaching approaches, in staff co-ordination and management. All the aspects and points of the project will contribute to the promotion and improvement of adult education quality in Ida-Virumaa county.
