The objective is to offer to the volunteer Michelle Tissen a learning experience in Israel and the Palestinian territories through our study program and participation in our working and living community.Michelle Tissen has been to Israel before so she already knows the country and the culture a bit. She's really interested in learning more about the israelian culture and the interreliogious aspect of the history, the developemnet and the current situation of Israel.She's really wants to introduce her responsibility, creativity and organizational skills which she practiced within an internship before into this project.Activities for the volunteer will be:Study program - weekly study trips and/or lectures. Seminar (Negev Seminar/Westbank Seminar/Jerusalem Seminar). Working experience - Working in our different branches and participating in our village of dialogueCommunity life - Personal development through living and working in a diverse international communityThe participant will return to Europe with a totally different outlook on the context of the dynamics within the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. She has gained a lot of knowledge, experience and information. She learned to maintain herself within a living and working community that brings a great advantage in terms of personal development. The participant learned a great deal of professional skills. The volunteer can develop initiatives and is encouraged to run a personal project as long as it corresponds with the ideology of Nes Ammim. The volunteer will be able to work in a free space of collaboration, coordination, in which she is asked to achieve some concrete tasks, but certainly to go beyond that. Great importance is given to the training and education of the volunteer.
