The proposed project consists of 4 flows. 14 students, most of them are adults, and 2 teachers participate in each one of them. Each flow has a duration of 14 days. These flows concern 4 specialties of Vocational Education, which operate in our school.
Specifically :
- For the Department of Information Science: a flow on Creating a Web Page (Web server, Web address, FTP-server, HTML-editor, CSS, etc.)
- For the Engineering Department: a flow on Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD, 3D-drawings, Animation of a motor / engine)
- For the Electrical Department: a flow on Automation (Siemens PLC - Logo Module, Cooling system, Traffic light control system, etc. )
- For the Department of Economics: a flow on Marketing.
The program of activities includes daily training and presentations by experienced instructors. The afternoon, will take place visits in labor/industrial sites and visits/tours to cultural sites.
The management and administration of the project, the accommodation, meals , educational and cultural visits, urban movements and the final evaluation are completely organized by the hosting provider (WBS).
Learners that will participate in the process, will be informed on modern tools, relevant on their specialties, and they will be prepared for the job market and its requirement of persons skilled in the use of new technologies.
The main objectives and the expected results of the program are:
- The education of students and teachers in new technologies, which are in line with new trends and future specialties of Vocational Schools.
- The contact of the participants with the European education and the labor market.
- Obtaining licenses and knowledge necessary for future professional course of the participants.
- The development of intercultural relations and the strengthening of intercultural cooperation and culture, both at the organizational level and individual level.
- Obtaining travel experience, since, for many of the participants will be their first trip abroad.
- Improving language skills (English).
