The NEAR JOB project targets youngsters facing difficulties in labour market access/inclusion. It represents an attempt to introduce innovative methods in workplace training format, with already well-known advantages compared with the ‘in room’ format: a more adjusted development of social/professional competencies, a better organisational socialisation, increase of professional integration and more adequate professional profiles creation. This vocational training programme intends to represent a useful mean through which those youngsters will develop specific professional skills, increase their empowerment and participation, and reinforce/recover their personal and social skills towards employment.
