The Bereg plain area forms a natural unit, divided by the borders. The action aims to protect natural landscape and biodiversity by promoting ecological land use in the whole Bereg region (Ukrainian and Hungarian side), on 380 ha of NATURA 2000 areas; contribute to the livestock genetic diversity, which is an important part of biodiversity; increase territorial cohesion among target areas through the common activities of the project. Expected Results: Estimated results: Improved natural grasslands under ecological management; Promoting the preservation of the Carpatian Bown cattle type through project activities and scientific research; Local population involved in ecological farming; Livelihood and ecologically conscious farming connected to make results sustainable in the long term.
