A wider objective of this project is to provide a strategic support and lasting impact on Ukrainian higher education in establishing a structural change towards a educational system that promotes students’ creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in the IT related educational programs. This will include extensive promotion of knowledge triangle instantiations that involve education programs, researchers and companies. This will enable Ukrainian universities to be more aligned to the labour market needs and be promoters of the economical development.This project insures full compliance with the TEMPUS national priorities for Ukraine for structural measures projects. The key indicators related to the wider objective are summarized into three main categories: 1) National standards for Software Engineering master education that includes new courses on innovation and entrepreneurship. 2) Development of the Virtual Innovative Space that creates a sense of community among Ukrainian students, researchers and IT professionals and promotes their creativity and innovation. 3) Establishing a set of guidelines and recommendations for adoption on a national scale for university – company cooperation with a focus on student innovation and entrepreneurship.Achievement of these objectives will be done by the complementary work performed by 13 partners divided into 10 work packages. Each partner brings a unique experience and expertise to the project, in order to insure the positive outcomes of this project. The indicators will be measured based on the conformity of the project results, documents and processes with the national strategy for higher education in Ukraine. Full integration with the national standard for master education of the new courses that promote creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. A special attention is put on the nation wide impact and sustainability of the results in Ukrainian universities and society in general.
