NASZA SZKOŁA W EUROPIE
Start date: Dec 31, 2015, End date: Dec 30, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our students come from rural areas, that's why all our actions are aimed at children with fewer opportunities. Because of the geographical and environmental reasons they have worse educational perspectives and poor awareness of the necessity of further education and self development. This is the reason why our school decided to take part in the project "Our school in Europe". These are the aims that we'd like to achieve in the future by taking part in this international project: • better knowledge of English among the participants of the project • self development of our workers • getting to know new methods of teaching • getting to know other cultures and countries • developing a sense of European citizenship and identity • building networks of international contacts • preventing social exclusion among our students and their parents • heightening the awarness of the need to study and develop in order to have better perspectives for the future • improving external exams results • gaining key competences to take part in international projects such as eTwinning for example Seven teachers, chosen in the process of selection carried out by a specially appointed commission, will take part in a project. All the workers have been working in our school for at least four years. Their achievements and continuous need to self development resulted in choosing them for the mobility activities. As a result they are going to take part in foreign language courses and methodology courses. Among the participants of the project are: • foreign language teachers • kindergarten and I - III grade teachers The mobility acitvities are expected to produce the following outcomes: • enhanced foreign language competences • attending a full course • implementation of the new ideas and methods of teaching presented during the course • improved competence to do work team • improved motivation to self improvement • improved self belief • developed intercultural competence • better knowledge of the history and culture of the host country • increased self esteem and self confidence In the long run, our school is definitely going to become an international institution, where the staff continuously improves its qualifications, takes part in numerous international projects and uses modern methods of teaching. Moreover our students together with their parents won't feel socially excluded because of the place and the environment they come from. The fact that they are aware of the necessity of further education and progressive development can lead to better exam results, increased self esteem and self confidence and the loss of inferiority complex as far as a sense of European citizenship and identity is concerned.
