Sustainable Renovation is a key element to achieve on the European climate aims but this section does not develop as fast as necessary. Studies show as an essential reason the lack of communication between planners, architects and craftsmen. Furthermore the consultation of clients focusses to much on technical details instead of the clients´ objectives and needs.The actors lack the communicative and social skills for a comprehensive customer-oriented consulting . So major market potential and job creation remain unused. The stakeholders have an urgent need for appropriate practical developments that are not yet offered in the systems of vocational training.The aim of the project was to fill this gap in the education and training systems by transferring the innovative SURECON curricula. The transfer of the curriculum enabled the participants to offer clients a comprehensive, transparent and continuous consultation process. The close cooperation with relevant institutions, such as professional associations, chambers of commerce, businesses and training providers helped to ensure the practical combination of education and working life.
