Project On the road of innovation has been realized through attended structural courses by teachers and staff in the elementary school Spinut within the Erasmus+,KA 1.The objective of the project is to increase working quality at all levels.The basic fields needed to be developed are more advanced use of digital technology,exploring the identity through culture,especially through museum heritage and different types of art, stronger orientation towards fieldwork as an educational method and internationalization of the whole school system. Teachers and staff are a valuable resource of the school as an institution and it is necessary to invest in their qualifications, aiming to develop identified fields, by participating in the EU projects and establishing and maintaining partnerships.School teachers and staff need training to gain new experiences and expand their previous ideas about the educational approach through the modern technology, that enables a more interesting approach to learning for students. It contributes to strengthening interests of the young for learning about the cultural heritage and the possibilities of internationalization, as well as opening the path to creation of individual’s identity as a citizen of City of Split and of the European Union, for the purpose of their further peronal development.The project team consists of 9 participants: a headmistress, a pedagogue, an English teacher, a Croatian and Italian teacher, a Croatian teacher, a Geography and History teacher and three teachers of primary classroom teaching through 9 mobilities attended 8 structural courses, where they gained competences on the personal as well as professional level interpersonal, intercultural and civic competences, as well as better communication competences in their mother tongue and foreign languages, improved level of their digital skills, ones of their art and cultural expression, increasing their digital, mathematic, scientific and technological competences, and those of learning how to learn which are very important for the personal development of participants and making working quality, teaching methods and school curriculum more modern.Courses SMILE, Reading the city, Best Practices Benchmarking i How to make Your school more international focus most on interpersonal, intercultural and civic competences as well as better communication competences in participants' mother tongue and foreign languages, improving participants' digital skills.Courses Cyprus-the Forty Dragons i Great Stories of Mankind-Canterburry tales are focused on the development of art and cultural expression along with development of interpersonal, intercultural and civic competences as well as better communication competences in participants' mother tongue and foreign languages.Courses Digital Extra i I Use Statistics For Education influence improving participants' digital skills and mathematical, scientific, and technological competences as well along with the development of interpersonal, intercultural and civic competences.Reinforcing School staff professional capacities is becoming a permanent task of the School.Since dissemination activities have been successful at all levels,the School status is of a great respect because of recognized intention to improve its quality at all areas.
