PROJECT

The aim of the project is to exchange experiences and good practices between the countries that have very diverse and different experiences of migrants, our aim is to develop models and tools of intercultural education (with a maximum of universal potential for use in a variety of national and linguistic environments of migrants), addressed to migrants from different countries and backgrounds, getting them familiar with the European values, European social norms, rules of the functioning of democratic state and civil society. The rapid influx of migrants from many countries in Europe evokes the need for accelerated and effective education in this field. Lack of such knowledge causes the loss of migrants, lack of ability to move in a new social environment and their behavior contrary to the accepted social norms, which in turn causes the hostility of the population of the country of residence for newcomers. This situation results in difficulties in social inclusion, in finding employment, causes a danger of exclusion and deep frustration. At the same time causes a lot of difficult situations for the host countries. Since the ethnic diversity of migrants is very high and many of them do not know enough language of the country in which they find themselves, or English, objective of the project is to develop an innovative universal model of education, allowing to reach different groups, irrespective of their nationality and language, and tools operating primarily video and non-verbal audio. Implementation of the project raises the qualifications of adult education staff in the partner countries, who will be able to familiarize themselves with proven good practices, and also will receive new educational tools. The project meets the needs of both migrants and the communities receiving them because it supports effective education, which accelerates the assimilation of migrants. The project should be implemented in international cooperation as a necessity of taking into account experiences and points of view of different countries, dealing with the various groups of migrants and having different policies towards them.
