The work programme is organised along several (multi-annual) core action lines. The actions contributing to the achievement of objectives set for 2016 are:Carrying out statutory activities e.g. the publication of activity related newsletters, enhancing EADTU websites, the statutory meetings, the organisation of specific promotional events and cooperation with stakeholder organisations. Yearly dedicated events are the EADTU-EU Summit and the EADTU Conference in which we have representatives from universities, QA-agencies, HE-umbrella organisations and political representatives of national and European level. More within the local context we organise mainstreaming events on EADTU outcomes. We will further establish a series of trend reports by EADTU and its members, based on the initial Changing Pedagogical Landscape study. With the CPL-trend report EADTU wants to launch a bi-annual study based on an extended number of country reports. We therefore prepare interview templates for the various countries, overview of universities, governmental bodies and intermediairy organisations to be interviewed as well as new country experts to be involved. In 2016 we start with webinars and local meetings to discuss results of the initial CPL-study.EADTU further stresses in 2016 its 3 main services: EMPOWER, OPENUPED and E-xcellence. -In EMPOWER, supported by >100 experts, we will share expertise for member and non-member universities in OOF-education. Physical meetings are foreseen of the EMPOWER expertpools and its 12 Chairs. Next, we will organise some 30 webinars by the 12 expert pools on latest developments in OOF-education and start 3 instititional pilots on actual implementation of shared expertise. -OpenupEd aims to open up education to all learners interested in taking part in online HE. It offers almost 200 high quality learner-centred MOOCs in 11 languages, designed for self-learning. The daily operations of OpenupEd include dissemination and awareness raising, increasing impact and outreach, monitoring, evaluation and research. In 2016 the present multilingual OpenupEd website will be extended in number of languages. Further, outcomes from MOOC related projects will be sustained and mainstreamed within OpenupEd. Connected EADTU projects are SCORE2020 (7 Support Centres for Open education and MOOCS) and Home (22 countries network for European cooperation on open education and MOOCs). -Both the EADTU quality instruments E-xcellence (on-line education) and OpenupEd (MOOCs) will be further promoted and exploited within universities and QA-agencies. In 2016 some 5-8 university reviews are foreseen as well as increased collaboration with ENQA as a follow up on our SEQUENT project. EADTU will help to support further introduction wihin QA agencies European wide by dedicated European seminar(s) organised by ENQA and 2-3 QA agency meetings on-site.In addition:-11 EADTU Open Universities sign a MOU during the EADTU-EU Summit 2016, promoting SLP’s in their course offer and collaboration with regard to the development, delivery and recognition of SLP’s. -Strategy development on refugee programmes and making inventory of suitable online offerings. All action lines are shared with international organisations like EUA, EDEN, ENQA, ESU, EUCEN, ESMU, EUCIS-LLL, the EADTU Student Council, UNESCO and ICDE. This is essential in creating an extended outreach on our outcomes and involve experts and stakeholders in our initiatives European wide.
