The project is based on activities aiming at establishing permanent and efficient cooperation between the schools from Poland and Slovakia as well as increasing students' educational and cognitive competences. This aim will be achieved by means of working on activities favouring students' direct interaction on both sides of the border. Students' contacts will be focused on increasing language skills and motivation to learn the English language. Overcoming communication barriers will help develop basic life competences: creativity, tolerance, making conscious decisions, group work, building positive social relations and efficient use of IT equipment. Project's activities will be focused on gaining the knowledge of natural science, differences and similarities in both cultures by means of learning about the history of the partner's home town, region and native land, becoming aware of the fact that despite numerous dissimilarities, we have a lot in common. The Eurocarpathian area where both schools are located has common roots, yet significant differences as well. To achieve this aim, the activities include a course of digital photography and digital processing photography programmes, Slovak and Polish language classes, learning national dances as well as the organisation of integrating educational mobilities. This project will also involve teachers who will be responsible for activities connected with the organisation of language classes concerning basic rules of spelling and pronunciation of Slovak and Polish alphabet in order to improve students' communication skills. Moreover, project's participants will be engaged in common work on the end products, which will result in the increase of knowledge and experience connected with managing the project.
