"My Home is Your Home” is an Youth Exchange that aims to put together 30 youngers between 18 and 30 years old (national, first and second generations immigrants legally living in Portugal, Greece, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria), from 12 to 22 September in Gibellina (Trapani, ITALY). The healthy confrontation of immigration realities, including the refuggees one, and sharing of experiences will lead this mobility through activities of intercultural dialogue and awareness, games and criative exercises for the improvement of european awareness and social inclusion of disadvantaged people. The Stories shared are going to be used as a mean to diffuse a more positive message of cultural diversity and tolerance, making the participants more active citizens and with more initiative to work in their communities. The knowledge acquired about this target group, their needs and possible contributions, can prepare the local communities, the youth workers, the organisations and the european reality for work better with this target group and for their social integration. The main goals of the project are:- increase tolerance for diversity and develop methodologies and strategies of social and cultural inclusions of migrants in the communities;- develop the feeling of european identity, as well as european values and the sense of active citizenship;- develop creative skills and personal expression;- promote Erasmus+ and opportunities for youth;- increase the knowledge of migration policy;- develop problem solving skills.The methodology is "active-participative" and is develop through:- sharing of personal stories and experiences;- icebreaking techniches;- tecniches of horizontal communication and promotion of participation, also with non verbal communication;- team work;- debates that promote riflexion and opinion sharing;- visite to hosting centers for migrants;- creation of stories and creative elements through recicable materials;- consult of books, magazines, newspapers and documents;- knowledge of migration policy, youth opportunities and european values.The project focus on education of european citizenship, particullarly creating a Story and a book that promotes the tolerance on diversity and social inclusion of migrants, translated in all the present languages on the project, with the aim of developing in their own cities projects on schools, with children or youth, through that Story.
