A youth exchange project with the themes: ' Creativity and culture ' and ' Gender equality/equal opportunities ' will be realized in the project "Music Girlz". The themes are worked out in a joint week-where music is used as a means.Music Girlz aims with this Exchange to involve young women, with a passion for active performance in the age between 18 and 26 years, to get acquainted with each other and each other's culture, with empowerment as an starting point. With the Exchange project Music Girlz, we want to contribute to the empowerment of young women in our field of work. Therefore we choose for an exchange with young women with a passion for music and uses that shared passion as a common language. In the exchange, in which the participants live together intensively for a certain time, travel and work together, opportunities are created for tolerance and solidarity with each other and each other's culture, to share experiences, to learn from each other and strengthen each other. From each country, there will be six young women participate in the exchange project. The participants are recruited through the participating organisations, which activate their networks and make potential participants aware of the project. Also there will be on-and offline media attention and an open call will be published.Participating countries are: Poland, France, Netherlands and Norway.We see this project as a pilot and want the experience and knowledge that is gained with this, translate into new projects and activities, both at local, national and European level.
