MUSAS II – Expanding knowledge about and awareness of young victims of crime across Europe

The MUSAS II project is aiming at geographically expanding the results of the MUSAS I project mainly represented by training module for workers who will support young victims of crime. It will adapt training material developed within the MUSAS I to the needs of new project participating countries represented by Slovakia, Czech Republic, Sweden and Finland and new members of the European Forum for Victim Services. Results of the project are basic training modules for the support of young victims of crime in order to contribute to improve the knowledge, awareness and technical skills of workers who directly have contact with young victims of crime and others shocking events. The project will by this way contribute to harmonise training provided to professional of this service’s sector and by this way to improve the quality of vocational education and training systems and practices in victim support services. Valorisation activities will be conducted by mailing lists, web site, press, newsletter, and annual conferences and enhanced by the network linked to the European Forum for Victim Services. Main target groups of the project are represented by trainers and workers who directly support and assist young victims of crime.
