PROJECT
FINISHED
Our goal is to provide to our students a professional experience in a foreign country after completing their studies, aiming to promote their mobility in Europe, to change their vision as far as expanding their personal boundaries of the labor market, to develop their self-confidence to work and study in Europe and to increase their employability levels. Our proposal is directed to students taking part of training courses of Professional Certificates Level II in the metal sector in our center, specifically FMEC0110-coated electrode welding and TIG / FMEC0210 oxyfuel welding and MIG MAG / FMEE0208-Installation and mantainance of Industrial Installations / FMEC0108 pipe-manufacturing and assembly Industrial Equipment. Upon completion of their studies in Spain, 6 students will take up 4 weeks (30 days) apprenticehsip in Portuguese companies to improve the skills acquired.Participants are aged mostly between 25-44 years old, unemployed, low level language without studies or practical experience outside Spain. Minimum level of education varies and the minimum requirement is level II of Professional Certificates. All activities will be managed by Faase mobility team and the students monitoring will be carried out by 1 tutor tutor in Spain and 2 in Portugal (1 intermediary organization and 1 in the company). On their return to Spain, students will receive employment support services from our center to profit from this experience in order to increase their employability. This experience will be documented using the Europass Supplement, Europass Certificate and a company certification letter stating their apprenticeship period, conditions and tasks. As results, we expect these mobility initiatives will contibute to increase the employability of our students both in Spain and Europe. We also hope that from this experience our students feel more confident about working and studying in other EU countries. In addition we also expect motivation will increase towards to acquire language skills (traditionally foreign languages levels in Spain among VET students is very low).
