Our High school IES LUCUS AUGUSTI has encouraged all the mobility experiences avaliable since we achieved the ERASMUS CHARTER in 2014 in order to promote a European conscience among our students and also to enable them a better access to work. It is also our intention to make our Laboratory short cycle degrees ( level 2 and 3) more prestigious. This is the reason why we are applying for the KA102 Project so that we can offer our Vocational training in laboratory ( level 2 ) a mobility experience. Our project suggests 12 different mobilities for 6 students which last 90 days and also 6 mobilities for teachers 4 of which will last 7 days and the others will last 18. It should be added that we also offer 1 mobility for an " under eighteen " student. The students taking part in this project can be either those who have already finished their studies ( short laboratory cicle level2 ) or those who must do the subject of FCT (training in work place) . To prepare the project we got in touch with a Portuguese and an Italian laboratory which are willing to welcome our students. we took into account that these laboratories had connections with the syllabus taught in our school. During the first phase we focus on the election of the applicants whom will be told about the general characteristics of the mobility experience. Once we have chosen our candidate , they will be given precise and more detailed information about their stay abroad. The next step has to do with the trip itself and their stay abroad with the help of the foreign laboratory involved. In order to check the development of the complete stay we will use for our comunication telephones , mails, video conference.....and also the necessary trips of the teachers to the foreign laboratory. Once the experience has finished we will find out about the success of the mobility by means of an interview with the student and also through the reports. So as to spread the experience we will organize talks with the students of the following year and , of course , our website will be an important tool to help us popularize the experience. We expect this project to enable us to reinforce our links with foreign laboratories and chemical industries. And last but not least , this Project will achieve better qualified technicians with an European scope.
