The district of Cham is home to several companies that are internationally active with branches in the field of EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) and mechatronics. The rapid technological progress requires a steady training and the global orientation of the companies always leads to foreign deployments of employees. Eight trainees from the electric department of the Werner-von-Siemens school Cham completed in Vantaa, Finland internships in which they carried out the production and maintenance in Finnish companies. Besides the technical aspects also linguistic, communicative and intercultural skills of the participants were encouraged. The mobility willingness of participants increased thereby. The participants got to know the Finnish education system, in particular the professional system. In addition, another international tolerance has intensified towards strangers and democratic behavior. hrough multiplying effects in the workplace, at our school, and by publishing the public, the project has been published. Another focal point was the placement of new cloud-based communication and the group-based document processing via the Internet. Four teachers of the electrical department could also deveope their skills in areas mentioned above.
