There are 3 short term group European Voluntary Service (EVS) projects. In each project 8 youngsters from the Netherlands will go to Italy. 2 projects are at Panta Rei (Passignano sul Trasimeno) and 1 project is in Latronico (LINK). All youngsters are (potential) school drop outs. Theme of the short term group EVSes is environmental awareness and awareness of the food chain.This will differ from cleaning the forest, repairing and painting buildings, prepare diner from food collected in the forest (Latronico) to picking, sorting and pressing olives, taking care of the herb garden, taking care of the cattle and preparing diner from food collected at the farm (Passignano sul trasimeno).To make the EVS a life learning experience youngsters will set their personal goals before going on the EVS. Before, during and after the experience they will be guided by professional coaches. Aim is to bring youngsters back to school and get motivated again to finish their education.
