PROJECT
FINISHED
This project involves 11 students preparing a vocational Baccalaureate in Administrative Management and 9 students preparing a vocational Baccalaureate in Social Work. They all attend a European class (they have lessons in English or in Spanish). The students will be staying in Dublin (Ireland) or Salamanque (Spain) for 4 weeks (March-April 2017). By encouraging our students to work and train in European countries, our goal is to develop their knowledge and skills but also validate their training by obtaining recognized certifications such as EUROPASS or EUROPRO. This will certainly improve their job prospects in Aquitaine. We also want to open them to the European dimension of their training and make them aware of their European citizenship. During the months preceding their placement, from September 2016 to February 2017, our students will be given lessons in cultural, language and professional areas so that they can make the most of their experience. They will be able to adapt to a new culture and the daily life of the country they live in. Accommodation for the students will be provided by our Irish and Spanish partners who will follow up their work placement in close cooperation with the teachers from our school. These latter will be present on site to supervise the students throughout their stay, given the fact they are under 18.We will be in regular contact with our partners (by mail or by phone) and a visit will be organised to prepare the stay. We will sign with them an ERASMUS+ contrat that clearly stipulates the rights and duties of each Party. One of the teachers is applying for a job shadowing opportunity to improve her language skills and her expertise as a teacher. She aims at being more successful in the management of European projects.
