Project "More than 1" is a long-term European Voluntary Service project, which is being implemented in the EU program "Erasmus +" program. In project time together will be hosted three volunteers from Spain, France and Slovakia.In this project will be involved five organizations, where Gulbene youth center "Bāze" will be both Coordinating organization and the Host organization. Bāze will host and coordinate two volunteers for youth center and will coordinate the host organization third educational institutions "Auseklītis" for one volunteer.Project duration is 15 months, from 1 June 2016 to 31 August 2017. Volunteering activities will be for 11 months.The project aim:- To develop the local population and other organizations a positive attitude towards volunteering and expand their horizons.- Creating a safe and creative environment for the volunteers so that they can effectively share their skills, develop their creative expression needs.One of the project main themes of creativity and intercultural education. Project activities and lessons will encourage young people's creativity, encourage them to create new ideas and implement them. Learning process through non-formal education methods.Our main motivation to host volunteers is a local community life quality. As well as the voluntary work and simply volunteering promotion.
