The project aims at developing a methodology for the production, assessment, validation of learning objects easily downloadable, structured for didactic purposes, and usable by different target groups, duly supported with directions for use. A small laboratory for testing the learning objects will be created, where a wide range of platforms will be assessed too, in terms of strengths and weaknesses of each one. The learning objects and the relevant tools will be mapped against usability, valuable contents and consequently assessed. -- OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES: The project goal is to facilitate the diffusion of training instruments based on e.learning . For such a purpose a feasibility study will be devoted to evaluate their usability in terms of skills requirement, access costs, didactic advantages and to identify the type of contents more adequate for on line training. -- RESULTS AND PRODUCTS: A data base of structured materials will be an outcome, as well as a skills portal complemented by FAQ, newsletter chat, and services of mail on demand, obtainable through mobile phones and different wireless supports, conceived for students and other target groups like teachers using on line training courses. As for material products, an handbook serving as a guide for teachers-trainers is expected. -- POTENTIAL FUTURE: The proposal underlines that the envisaged methodology is extendable to target groups different from those focussed by the current project
