It would not be difficult to adapt to changing working conditions. Employers want to recruit highly qualified, with specific experience, competitive, entrepreneurial workers. They are looking for employees who are self-contained, high-quality work, do not afraid of challenges, so it is very important to ensure the students' professional development, especially in developing learning opportunities at the workplace.The project "Social worker assistant‘s skills improving in the EU countries“ main goal - to create favorable conditions for NGO Daugų Technology and Business School, Vilnius Technology and Business Vocational Training Centre and Silute tourism and service business school social worker assistant training programs for students to acquire professional skills and skills necessary for successful integration into the labor marketNumber of participants - 12 Daugų TVM, Vilnius Technology and Business PMC and Silutes TPVM social worker assistant training programs for 1-2 years students. The project will participate in 2 accompanying trainers or employees in connection with the organization of the educational process. The project will take place in the practice of social institutions in Italy (Umbria region) and Spain (Valencia region).The practice will be in social institutions and pupils will get knowledge’s about European Union social policy system to improve practical skills for assessing the human social situation, communicate with the person and will learn the prevention activities and the organization of social work, social services, they will understand cultural and social differences between people. The participants will get acquainted with the refugee problem and its resolution, the refugee integration opportunities and emerging challenges, enhance students' knowledge of human rights expertise, value orientations.Students will gain entrepreneurial skills: they will improve language and personal competencies.Project implementation and management process will participate VsI Daugų TVM project team, Vilnius Technology and Business PMC and Silutes TPVM appoint coordinator, partner organizations: The practices (ESMOVIA) - Spanish organization based in Valencia and the Italian organization European Grants International Academy Srls U (Egina), located in Umbria. Our expected results of the project are: to improve twelve (12) PI Daugų TVM, Vilnius Technology and Business PMC and Silutes TPVM social worker assistant specialty course 1-2 students' professional skills and abilities; 6 students will prepare presentations (Power Point) on the experience gained during the internship; 6 will prepare papers on topics related to the specialty.The project benefit students and the school: the perfect students professional skills, if you will experience a wider range of project related to a field of technology, acquire entrepreneurship, language, communication and other skills, increase students' confidence, motivation to learn, to pursue a higher education, the students will find a job easier, the school will become more attractive for the ability to create a favorable, attractive conditions for learning and training of skilled workers, improve the school's image, increase the attractiveness of VET. Students practice in foreign companies ensure their competitiveness in the labor market. As well as the participating students' example will encourage other students to actively participate in school life, teaching (learning) process. The students will work in EU countries at the social institutions, their acquired knowledge and skills, brought back the good experience will encourage teachers to improve the social worker assistant vocational training program content, material resources, educational process organization. The project will have an impact on the labor market: employers willing to accept to work motivated, active graduates who have diverse work experience, more favorably vocational training institutions.
