THE PROJECT SUMMARY A Project called ‘Your Education – Your Chance’ was the idea of ZSCKR in Nowosielce. It began on the 1st September 2014 and finished on the 30th August 2016. The main part of the Project was vocational practice in Germany (Drezno , Dahlen) for twenty students and one teacher. The students were divided into two groups. Each group had ten students at the age between 17- 19 who come from podkarpackie county. The students live in the rural area where the unemployment rate is very high (about 16%). The chosen participants study: the architecture of landscape, the cooking, servicing food and the agriculture. During the whole stay in Germany, the students were accompanied by the interpreter. The project uses the principles of ECVET and gave students the opportunity to acquire such documents as an internship certificate with evaluation and the Europass Mobility. The main goals of our project are: to increase the chances of young people on the labour market by gaining work experience and develop their working-language competence, and increase their mobility and flexibility in the labour market. We want, through the continuous development of the participants in the improvement of their key competences, to build a strong and modern economy in the future and to posses as many people as possibile who can be active in the labour market. Through the major goals, our project takes into account the assumptions of the Erasmus programme and the strategy is concerned with Europe development -Europe 2020. Students during a foreign practice held a number of educational trips. They also worked in German companies which fulfilled the program`s requirements: physical and mental safety, comfort. The most important criterion was to placed a student in a company that is appropriate with the student`s education. Students learned how to work and raise their competence in gastronomy, tourism, interior decoration, landscape architecture, as well as diagnostics, servicing agricultural vehicles and tools. Our project concidered a lot of students` preparation to a foreign trip. It was necessary to prepare and execute modular tasks and thematic projects that directly affected the increase of students` vocational skills. The project helped to stimulate students, parents and teachers to be more active. Those extra classes enjoyed great popularity among the students, who regularly attended to all the modules. The students had been trying to fulfill the obligations, despite the fact that all extra lessons were held after the school classes. Such an activity and engagement were very positive school experience. In our assessment, the project has brought benefits not only to Sanok district but also to Podkarpackie county. It caused the increase of a skilled workforce in the region which could attract new investors. It also affects the development of economy in areas related to food services, tourism industry and landscape architecture. The project supports some workplaces which provide customers with the services of diagnostics and repairing agricultural equipment. Thanks to the implementation of the project our educational facility develops dynamically - we can give students better educational offer, suited to the labour market requirements.. The school wants to continue the ' Europeanisation ' of education and send students to practice abroad. The previous success encouraged us to send another application to ERASMUS + programme. The Commision approved the programme again.
