Modular Programme of Group Introduction of HACCP-System for Food-Producing Branch of SME-Sector

Training in Food Safety Control Techniques for SMEs : Food-production methods are increasingly subject to quality and safety controls to agreed international standards. As the HACCP system gains Europe-wide acceptance, SMEs in the food sector face a pressing need to train their staff in the implementation of this method. The project has responded to this need by developing training modules for the fish, meat and bakery/confectionery branches. Available in Polish, German and French, the training modules offer cost-effective training for small businesses that might find existing training programmes too expensive. The training helps employees and potential employees upgrade their skills and knowledge and prepares the companies to be competitive in the European and international markets for their products. This project started in 2000 and lasted 24 months.
