Střední průmyslová škola Zlín sent for 3-weeks long internship students of mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. 8 students of engineering traveled to Budapest in March/April 2017. 7 students of electrical engineering traveled in April 2017 to our foreign partners to Vienna. The aim of the project was scheduled to start organizing work placements abroad just for the best students of our school at our partner companies which are connected with the labor market in the Czech Republic. Thanks to the project the participants knew new modern technologies which they cannot see at school. They got practical skills in their field of studying and they saw how is working in real companies abroad. Participants improved also language competence - communication, professional expression, vocabulary extension and solving common problems. Results of the project are an increase in vocational and language level of pupils gaining practical experience and employability. Participation in the project was a great motivation to improve student´s attainment. In the long term the benefits of the project are increasing the prestige of the school and the associated increased interest of high school graduates studying technical disciplines. Thanks to the project our school could build long-term contacts abroad which is very important for organizing internships in the future.
