“One of the main reasons for the success of the internet among young people is undoubtedly music”. With such a consideration as preface and based on a previous EU funded “Musinet” project, the current proposal aims at expanding the exploitation of digital technologies for creating as well as remotely sharing musical projects within a transnational virtual learning circle and through a web-site centred e.training. Target groups are students, youngsters at risk of drop out, low skilled persons , who – while developing their own musical projects- should be encouraged to increase their abilities and skills through training . Thanks to a cooperative educational approach and a pedagogical method encompassing advanced technology and music the project has the goal of helping the learners to create music together using digital technologies . -- OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES: Strengthening the sense of the European citizenhip through music : that is the project’s general objective. The foreseen activities consist in an investigation on the existing good practices for developing web site-based cooperation in the field of music creation and in the promotion of a training programme devoted to produce open code web site based music. -- RESULTS AND PRODUCTS: The outcomes are : (1) a training programme for remote cooperation in music, (2) an online learning area where to exchange music projects. The products: a publication in English that will explain the theoretical an methodological foundations of the afore mentioned training programme -- POTENTIAL FUTURE: In the project follow up could be involved other sectors of VET since the web based collaborative approach could help other target groups.
