La Salle-Virgen del Mar school has got as an aim to make a life-long learning training process among teachers, so as a new pedagogy focused on the use of English in and out of the classrroom. In addition, we try to focus teaching and learning in a dynamic European dimension with students and teachers. The training project is aimed to eight Vocational Training teachers that are currently involved in the Erasmus+ Programme, teaching a subject in English or studying and getting prepared for it. They will be highly-motivated teachers who enjoy learning new techniques, and they will be able to put in practice what they have learned in their classes. The courses and the jobshadowing will be given in the different countries of the European Union. The implementation of the course project will have a direct projection on our school, teachers, students and all members of the educational staff, because from the very beginning, it will offer a more modern image, connected to Europe, and staff mobility will be a main asset in their professional development. With the appropiate training and getting rid of linguistic barriers, our teachers will give an examplary image of a professionally competent citizen open to new learning processes.
