The planned activities are: Mobility of 76 trainees (including 8 following persons), 72 students (including 10 following persons), 98 vocational teachers/instructors from over 150 training companies across the county and 12 training offices, covering 20 different subjects, during two years . Duration of stay: apprentices for 13 weeks, students in VET: for two weeks, instructors for one week, following persons from 4 days to 2 weeks.
Mobility to following countries: Northern Ireland, Denmark, Germany, England , Finland , Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Check Republic and Austria.
All two - and 13-week work placements must include:
- Organizational arrangements, well planning of training/work content and stay,
- Cultural preparation in advance ,
- Web-based language courses in Norway ,
- Cultural program abroad
- Europass and in certain cases Memorandum of Understanding ,
- Rework , summary and evaluation.
Mobility for instructors consist of professional work placement, school visits , updating of professional skills and new methodology, new technologies, knowledge about the culture and traditions. The plan is also to offer a week-long linguistic development- English Courses- for vocational teachers and trainers from enterprises.
Mobility should give us: - In short- term: Professional development for participants: apprentices, students and teachers.
In long term:
- Development of trustful and loyal contact/Partner network in the relevant countries for Mobility, exchange of experiences / knowledge, apprentices and professional leaders / instructors.
- Improved recruitment to vocational training in trades and businesses in the county.
- Increased expertise in general.
- Professional co-operation in sectors between countries in Europe.
- Promoting innovation and raise the status of vocational professional training.
- Insight into the corresponding vocational training in other countries.
- Instructors and vet-teachers with international competence is a positive contribution to business development in the county.
- Catch up new trends in Europe.
- Language development and knowledge of other cultures.
- This is an important initiative for the county, according to strategic plans in NTFK , sector plans of the Department of secondary and International Strategy for North and South - Norway .
