The main objective of the project was to realize a mobility of 20 students of the European Business Academy in Decin to the British capital city London for a 14-day work experience. All the students belong to secondary vocational education and training, which means that they should have improved particularly their professional and language skills during the stay. They were employed in 20 different London’s organisations in administrative positions or retail. During the stay students acquired or improved professional competences related to work on a PC, secretary work, administration or various kinds of correspondence. In retail students learnt how to deal with customers, accept or dispatch goods. All participants were able to communicate with their colleagues at work and their level of English was appreciated by the companies. According to the ECVET principles for both the fields specific units of learning outcomes were defined and observed as part of the final evaluation of the project. An integral part of the project was a specialized language and cultural preparatory course organized by the school before leaving for the internship and, after the return, the evaluation of the acquired knowledge and skills and their dissemination among other pupils, teachers and the wide public. All project participants received a Europass Mobility. The main aims of the project have been achieved.
