The aim of this project is to give an impulse to European exchanges by giving an added value to the training of vocational high school students through an innovative and motivating projectThis project will concern 10 students chosen among the Fashion Department and the Food Processing Industry Department for the end of 2016 and we will have 5 students from the European section of the Food Processing Industry Department and 5 students selected in the Fashion Department for the 2017-2018 session.The choice of Ireland has been determined by the fact that Bègles is twinned with Bray (Ireland) and comforted by the success of our last Erasmus+ experience in 2014.We want to implement this mobility to develop the openess of our school on the international market and offer a quality training that will enable our students from the vocational school to find a job on the european market by enriching their skills.The steering committee has agreed on the following points : - the students will be selected according to their motivation, seriousness and language skill (B1) in order to enable them to perform their mobility in good conditions (video in English)- the students from both departments will have a 30 days internship before Christmas holidays- 3 days before work experience to enable the participants to get used to their new environment and get settled- choice of same partner Alaymont International which gave us entire satisfaction thanks to its seriousness and efficiency.The contact teachers will be the link between the school and the partner all along the mobility and serve as interpreters as often as necessaryThe trainees are expected to :- attend the course regularly and be courteous with the host family and company- write a travel diary in which they will mention their experiences and feelings - fill in a questionnaire provided by Alaymont International on how satisfied they are with their host family and company- keep in touch with the contact person in the sending organization by mail or phoneAFTER MOBILITYThe value of their experience will be enhanced thanks to a Europass mobility which will be given them as a proof for their future employers of their involvement in a professional path which is open on tomorrow's Europe.- communication of the results will be made at the level of the school, the region, the twinning committee and more widely on the etwinning plateform IMPACT OF PROJECT For the participants :- Improve their linguistic and professionnal skills- improve their employability- get personal enrichment- reinforce their feeling of being a European citizen- more toleranceFor the school :- incite other students to get involved in such an experience and increase the number of mobilities in future projects- improve the attractiveness of the school for students and thus be able to attract students who are more motivated by a policy of openness to Europe - boost the teaching team through projects that may enrich their pedagogical practices and linguistic skills - reinforce the link between Bray and Bègles- get a better involvement of the students in the life of the town The aim of the project is to perpetuate and widen the horizons at a larger scale with more students involved and more partners.
