Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The « Staff mobility project for every pedagogical and educational stakeholders » is a consortium bringing together five vocational agricultural high schools from all the Pays de la Loire region: Du Tertre High School from La Ferté Bernard, l’Association de Gestion des Ecoles des Sciences de la Vie from Sablé sur Sarthe, Saint Gabriel Nantes Océan High School from Le Pellerin, Gabriel Deshayes High School from Saint Gildas des Bois, and Kerguénec High School near Guérande. The consortium is ruled by the National Board of Private Agricultural Education in Pays de la Loire (CNEAP). This first project is the logical continuation of European and international cooperation already started in each institution. The 12 beneficiaries are exclusively high school’s staffs: directors, executive assistants, administrative staff, teachers, and educational staff. They will go in mobility two weeks in one of the project partners: in Denmark, Portugal, Italy or Malta. This project aims to strengthen the international perspective of the High Schools, to consolidate the CNEAP’s position as a common projects federator between agricultural High Schools, to reinforce the institutions ‘cooperation in joint projects, and to create favourable conditions for students mobility by developing an extensive cooperation network. In terms of participants, the objectives are to discover another educational system and another way of life, to enrich teaching practices, to perfect cultural and linguistic skills, to make use of the cooperation possibilities to the consortium High Schools, to create favourable conditions for students mobility by a good understanding of the country, to better understand the mobility’ issues and get involved, to increase the legitimacy of the educational teams with families and students concerning mobility, to provide relevant methods and knowledge to prepare, evaluate and communicate on mobility projects. This two-year project will begin in October 2015 with a meeting of the consortium members to complete the final details of the project: schedule of departures, repartition of Erasmus scholarships, implementation of training agreements, etc. All the participants will meet on October 2015 to know each other and prepare the mobility. Then the departures will be between January 2016 and March/May 2017. The participants will discover with our partners a different way of proceeding. The first week of their mobility will be focused on the observation of their counterpart’s activities, and the second week will be focused on implication in the institution’s activities, according to their function and interests: classes for teachers, presentation of its own high school for a director, document management according to the institution’s method for a librarian, etc. Exchanges with all the institution’s stakeholder will punctuate the stay (students, families, external actors like internship’s supervisors, educational consultant, etc). The staff will also be attentive to European and international cooperation activities of the institution and to partnership’s possibilities on a long term. After they return to France, the beneficiaries will synthesize their new knowledge in a report and give it to the consortium. From these documents, the project team will create a handbook on the project;, which will be disseminated in every CNEAP’s high schools. In the short term our beneficiaries will become mobility ambassadors: they will know how mobility projects work and be able to talk about it with their colleagues, students and families. They will improve their professional knowledge and will modify some of their activities according to the best practices they have identified. The CNEAP Pays de la Loire will be recognised as a stakeholder of the internationalisation of its high schools with an original and innovative project. It relies on that project to motivate more and more staffs in mobility project and support high schools to initiate this kind of project. In the long term the CNEAP want to offer to all its high schools common mobility projects, enabling thus internships in different countries, and a simplified management for each high school.
