PROJECT
FINISHED
Etion, High school prepares pupils to sit for and succeed at the following vocational high school diploma – (baccalauréats professionnels):
Reception,
Business- trade and sale
Management and administration
Support, service and care to the person.
The aim of our “ERASMUS+” project –dedicated to our second year pupils of vocational diploma, is to make them discover professional sectors abroad, improve their linguistic and language skills, offer them the opportunity of a cultural opening and finally improve their chances to get a job, as soon as they finish their training.
During their 3 years program, our pupils must carry out 22 weeks of training in a professional environment. Our project will allow six of our second year pupils to go to Nordheim, our German city partner, and discover, work and learn for 4 weeks in a German company, establishment or school. We have already realized two Leonardo projects with this partner.
The six pupils who will go are selected on their professional motivation and their abilities in foreign language, keeping in mind that their program requires the study of two foreign languages which will stand an oral examination.
International opening is one of our establishment axis program; the passed and successfully achieved mobilities, thanks to Leonardo program, have created nice dynamics at the pupils, the teaching staffs and our German partner. This new project is to perpetuate this dynamics and enable more and more mobility.
At the end of these 4 weeks abroad, the pupils are evaluated in accordance to the references tables of the diploma concerned, translated by the German teacher from our school.
The pupils will be given a “Europass” which they can update throughout their educational program, and which should value their experiments in professional environment abroad when they will be on the job market.
Our ERAMUS+ project will be broadcasted in local newspapers, on the school site to value the mobility, which was not done before. And of course it will value the international opening of our vocational school, and contribute to building Europe.
