The aim of this training is to support 100 participants from Powiatowy Zespół Szkół nr 2 im. K. Miarki in gaining new skills and vocational competences, also improving foreign language skills connected with specific vocabulary. Project realization provides them in learning the culture, traditions and customs of the partners’ countries. Thanks to it they will defeat prejudice and stereotypes and develop tolerance towards people living in the European Union.
The participants of the project will be second and third level of education, learning in following vocations: nutrition and food services technician(TZ), tourist service technician (TOT), hotel management technician (TH), economist technician (TE), information technology technician (TI), construction and building technician (TB), mechatronics technician (TM), a surveyor techniques (TG), logistics technician (TL) and techniques for devices and systems of renewable energy sources (OZE).
Students studying these professions will participate in a 4-week internship in foreign companies. The project will improve the quality and efficiency of the support offered to students in vocational education provided by school. They will be divided into five groups of twenty people. In each of these groups there will be students of two different vocational professions. This division has advantages because of organization and it guarantees the highest level of training realization.
The Project is expected to last two years, will make these young people, not only develop their professional skills, but also socio-cultural skills which will undoubtedly help them find work in the international, dynamic market. It will also have a great influence on employment-related mobility of students. The partner institutions will strengthen their positions on the international market, they will gain new experiences which is a great opportunity for development and promotion.
For the employers, it will be a chance to find highly qualified and experienced employees.
The project is a response to the needs of future participants of this project, European School Development Plan and local job market.
The project will involve seven participants: sending organization - Powiatowy Zespół Szkół nr 2 im. Karola Miarki w Pszczynie and receiving organizations: EPD-European Projects Development from Portugal, Associacao de Mobilidade Intercultural Euromob from Portugal, Vitalis Betreuungsgesellschaft für Modellprojekte mbH from Germany, EUROPROYECTOS LEONARDO DA VINCI S.L. Córdoba from Spain, Gymnazium a Stredni odborna skola, Podborany, prispevkova organizace from Czech Republic, Sistema Turismo s.r.l. from Italy. All the partners have a great experience in organization of this kind of projects.
After completing an internship, participants will receive a certificate attesting finishing their internship abroad including social, language and organization skills. Basing on assessment of host experts, sending organization will validate and recognize qualifications acquired using ECVET elements. What is more, student will be given the Europass Mobility certificate.
The intership will be implemented in accordance with an agreed programme with foreign partners and employers of the local labour market, supervised by professionals from companies in the partners’country, as well as by the guardians of the sending organization.
